Drew Delucca SR QB Pittston Area

The Pats continue to roll and Delucca has been punishing defenses with his arm. Delucca continues to impress and do so efficiently the past 2 weeks completing 71% of his passes for 394 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Ashton Karlick So RB Hazleton

 Coaches preach to make the most of your opportunities and Karlcik did just that this week. The Sophomore helped put up a 50 bomb on Wyoming Valley West and Karlick got in the action in his first start of the season recording 176 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Zach Fox SR RB Nanticoke

Fox and the Wing T continue to punish opposing defenses and it’s been the foundation to their success. Fox has been a man on a mission that past 2 weeks and is currently the District leader in rushing yards. The past 2 weeks have lifted him the number 1 spot dominating with 510 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Aiden Everett So WR Williamsport

The Air attack was on full display in week 7 against Valley West and Everett was at the center of it. Everett was unguardable in the millionaires 42-7 victory over the Spartans where the Sophomore recorded 3 receptions for 102 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Matt Walter JR WR Pittston Area

 The Pats continue to score and the air attack continues to do damage led by Walter’s. Walters continues to step up for the Patriots and make big plays and has played sme of his best ball these past 2 weeks recording 9 receptions for 266 yards and a touchdown.

Zander Coleman SR TE Hazleton

 The Cougars had their best offensive showing Friday against Valley West and the senior had himself a day. Coleman did a phenomenal job of run blocker for the Cougars helping them rush for 322 yards, but also was their leading receiver catching 2 passes for 10 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Brady Rosencrans SR T Dallas

 The Mounts offense continues to roll and they have outscored opponents 73-9 the past 2 weeks and the boys upfront have did their job led by Rosencrans. Rosencrans continues to dominate in the trenches and has been a punishing run blocker the past 2 weeks helping the Mounts rush for 202 yards a game but has really impressed in protection helping the Mounts throw for 152.5 yards a game.

Anthony VanAuken SR G Wyoming Area

The Warriors have been dominant all year long but the past 2 weeks they have averaged 52 points and VanAuken has domainted in the trenches. VanAuken has done a great job the past 2 weeks pulling guard and opening holes in the run game and the Warriors have rushed for 302.5 yards in the past 2 weeks.

Collin Smith JR C Pittston Area

The patriots are riding a 3 game winning streak and have averaged 42 points per game in the past 2 weeks and thats largely due to big guys upfront led by Smith. Smith has been great all year long for the Pats ans has played some of his best ball these past 2 weeks helping the Pats rush for 143.5 yards a game but more impresivley throw for 197 yards a game.

Brayan Calcano SR T Hazleton

The Cougars had their best offensive outing last week against Valley West scoring 50 points and Calacano led the way upfront. Calcano did a great job all night long against that Spartans d line creating holes in the run game and the Cougars continued to run off tackle. Calcano helped the Cougars rush for 332 yards.

Dane Dilodovic JR G Crestwood

The Comets are riding a two game winning streak and for the most part have done so with a backup quarterback. One thing that helps a backup QB is a good performance upfront and Dilodovic has done soon the past two weeks. Dilodovic continues to impress in this single wing and has done great job these past 2 weeks of creating holes and getting to the second level. Dilodovic helped the Comets rush for 300 yards a game these past 2 weeks.

DJ Battle SR DE Wilkes-Barre

The Wolfpack continues to impress and they have looked good, Battle has flown under the radar and has played very well the past 2 weeks. Battle has done a very good job the past 2 weeks of playing the run, and has looked good as a pass rusher as well recording 8 tackles, 1 for a loss, and a sack.

Dan Sabulski SR DT Dallas

 The Mounts defense has been rolling the past two weeks giving up only 9 points and Sabulski has been the leader of that d line that has helped do the job. Sabulski has been a force to be reckoned with these past two weeks stuffing holes and holding teams to just 65 rushing yards the past 2 weeks and has shown to be a solid pass rusher with multiple QB pressures and QB hits.

Cole Mckenzie SR DE Valley West

 Mckenzie has played some of his best ball the past two weeks and has shown to be the Spartans best interior linemen. Mckenzie has shown glimpses of both a solid run stuffer and pass rusher recording 6 tackles, 2 for a loss and 2 sacks.

Aaron Crossley SR LB Wyoming Area

Just as effective on defense as he is on offense Crossley is dominant on both sides of the ball. Crossley had himself a day against Lake-Lehman helping the starters post a shutout and recording 5 tackles, 1 for a loss, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble.

Max Gregor SR LB Wilkes-Barre

The Wolfpack have found a weapon in Gregor on defense and he has emerged as one of the district's best linebackers. Gregor has been a tackling machine all season long and these past 2 weeks have been no different recording 17 tackles, and 3 sacks.

AJ Fife SR LB Dallas

 The Mounts continue to roll and argue their case for the best defensive unit in the district and performances like Fife’s strengthen that case. Fife was all over the field in their 31-3 victory over Wallenpaupack and really shined as a pass rusher and finished with 4 tackles, 2 for a loss and 3 QB hits.

Jake Dubaskas JR LB Valley West

 Dubaskas continues to do what he did all throughout his Sophomore season and continues to be one of the WVC’s best linebackers. Dubaskas just seems to be always be near the ball and make play after play recording 15 tackles, 1 for loss the past 2 weeks.

Gavin Lewis JR DB Dallas

 The deeper you look the more the Mounts defense impresses with all the stars on the field. Lewis has broken out as the Mounts best coverage corner and continues to make offense pay. Lewis helped hold Berwick to just 90 yards off offense and had two interceptions.

Colin Lazo JR DB Crestwood

 The Comets are getting better each week, and Lazo continues to be the leader of this defense that has played very well the past 2 weeks. Lazo continues to be one of the WVC’s best ballhawks and continues to make big plays and week 7 against Hazleton was no different defending 2 passes and recoding an interception. 

Evan Laybourn-Boddie SR DB Wilkes-Barre

 Whether it’s on offense or defense Laybourn-Boddie continues to show he is one of the best players in the district. Laybourn-Boddie continues to show he was on the Wolfpacks best coverage corners and the numbers have translated the past 2 weeks recording 7 tackles, a interception, 3 passes defended and a blocked field goal return.

Oliver Bolin JR DB Wyoming Area

The Warriors were completely dominant in their victory over Holy Redeemer and Bolin was very impressive. Bolin did great job of allowing nothing over the top and helped the starters post a shutout where he recorded a 30 yard pick six.
