Noah West SR QB North Pocono
The Trojans have shaken an early week one loss and have proven there a contender in 4A, and that new-founded success has started with West. West has started to find his rhythm in coach Dolhon’s offense and he has been a huge reason for the Trojan's success these past 2 weeks. West helped lead a comeback against Hazleton in week 3 where he threw for 160 yards and a touchdown, and last week against Valley View threw for 105 yards and a TD.
Ryder Machado SR RB Delaware Valley
The Warriors reminded everyone Friday night that there still one of the best teams in the area, and headlining that 41-14 victory was Machado. Machado was dominant in Friday night's victory over Wallenpaupack where his speed and athleticism just made the Paupack defenders look silly. Machado averaged 13.5 yards a carry and ran for 260 yards and 3 TDs.
Camryn Higgins SR RB Valley View
You won’t find another 5’8 180 pound back who runs like Higgins, and since coach Wasilichak has called his number he hasn't disappointed. Higgins has been dominant the past 2 weeks and was a huge reason the Cougars defeated North Pocono on the road. The past 2 weeks, Higgins's speed has been too much for defenders as he rushed for 262 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Kevin Schmidt SR WR Abington Heights
The Comets are off to their best start since 2016 and a big part of their success has been big-time playmakers like Schmidt. Schmidt has been dominant these past 2 weeks and he has helped the Comets to wins over Berwick and Western Wayne, and in that span has recorded 10 receptions for 158 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Danny Pigga SR WR Dunmore
Pigga is known as one of the best playmakers in district 2, and came up with back to back big catches to help lead Dunmore past Riverside. Pigga finished with 4 catches for 81 yards and a touchdown, but had two key conversions including a 15 yard catch on 3rd and 11 with 2 minutes left and a touchdown with 39 seconds left.
Richie Kostoff JR TE Riverside
Injuries have set back the Vikings early on, but that has opened the door for guys to step up and Kostoff has done that. Kostoff has emerged as another weapon on Coach Armstrongs spread offense , and he hasn't disappointed, recording 6 receptions for 176 yards and 3 touchdowns the past 2 weeks.

Jacob Albaugh SR T Delaware Valley
The Warriors finally got that coveted first win over Wallenpaupack Friday night, and they were absolutely dominant on the ground led by Albaugh upfront. Albaugh helped pave the way for a dominant ground attack that ran for 357 yards and 4 touchdowns. Albaugh was also great in pass protection, not giving up a sack.
Nathan Reuther SR T Dunmore
The Spartans have been one of the biggest surprises this season and their offense has been electric led by Jackson upfront. Jackson has helped the Spartans score 92 points over the past 2 weeks and he's helped them average 323 yards a game. Jackson has done a great job pulling guard the past 2 weeks helping the Spartans rush for 236 yards a game.
Brandon Lezinski JR C Abington Heights

The Comets offense has been one of if not the most explosive offense in the district, and the offensive line has done its job through 4 weeks led by Lezinski. It was a big 2 weeks for the Comets with wins over Western Wayne and Berwick, a team they haven't beaten since 2012. The Offense has been very balanced and they have been dominant the past 2 weeks averaging 360 yards of offense a game.
Logan Smith SR G Valley View:
The Cougars have raced off to a 4-0 start and a large part of that success has been their ground led upfront by Smith. Smith has done a phenomenal job against interior defenders and has paved the way for an offense that has averaged 27 points per game, and is rushing for 252 yards a game.

Cameron Palermo SR DE Scranton Prep
The Cavaliers have been one of the best dynasties over the past decade, and this may be the best defense team they have ever had and it is headlined upfront by number 55. Palermo stepped up big time against previously undefeated Scranton recording a sack, multiple hurries and interception and helping the Cavs post a shutout.
Zach Hatala SR DT North Pocono
Despite the 2–2 start the Trojans have had one of the best defense in the LFC to start the season and it has been headlined upfront by Hatala. Despite the week 4 loss Hatala had big game against Valley View, helping hold the Cougras to a season low 14 points and recording 9 tackles, 1 for a loss.
Colton Stone SR DE Susquehanna
Susquehanna’s defense has been the story to their 3-1 start and Stone’s play off the edge has been a big reason why. Stone helped lead the Sabers past Susquehanna for the first time since 2013, and was dominant in the victory recording 3 tackles, 2 for a loss, a sack, a forced fumble, and a pass defended.

Justin Kalitsnik SR LB Delaware Valley
Kalitsnik has started where he left off his 2022 campaign and that's completely being a gamechanger on defense for the Warriors. Kalitsnik helped the Warriors get into the win column last week and has been completely dominant the past 2 weeks. In the span Kalitsnik has recorded 24 tackles and a sack.
Leland Wudarski Soph LB Holy Cross
The Crusaders had to make the long trip up to Montrose and came out with a win due to a defensive masterclass led by Wudarski. The Crusaders only gave up 6 points and it was large in part due to Wudarski who was all over the field on Friday night. Wudarski recorded 12 tackles, 3 for a loss and 2 sacks.
Jamie Barrett SR LB Scranton Prep
: A hidden hero in Scranton Prep’s 34-0 victory over Scranton, number 28 was all over the field making plays. Barrett was flying over the field on friday night weather it was on kickoffs or just playing standup linebacker 28 seemed to be near the ball everyplay. The senior had 10+ tackles and a pass defended.
Andrew Summa SR LB Scranton Prep
: It was a dominating day for the Cavilers and dominating day for number 6 who had another monster night. Summa helped shutout previously undefeated Scranton, and had a monster day in the process recording 4 tackles for a loss and 2 interceptions.

Nick Kucharski JR DB Valley View
Teams continue to test Kucharski in the secondary cause of his size and he continues to make offenses pay. Kuckarski has proved early on this season that he is already one of the best ballhawks in the LFC and he has been key piece to the Cougars defense that is one of the best in district 2. Kucharski in the past 2 weeks has recorded 6 tackles and 2 interceptions.
Billy Maloney SR DB Scranton
Weather its under center or its him playing center field on defense Maloney has proven week in and week out he is one of the best players in district 2. Maloney is just a true playmaker and he has shown us that from his free safety position the past weeks recording 10 tackles, 3 pass deflections and a interception.
Gavin Anders Soph DB Abington Heights
The Comets continue to impress and these past 2 weeks the defense has played as good as its been all season and thats largely in part due to anders who has stepped up as a underclassmen. Anders has been dominant these past 2 weeks recording 22 tackles an a interception.
Sean Owens JR DB Western Wayne
Its a incredible story as Owens suffered a serious injury in the offseason and it was suppose to end his season, but Owens has made his way back and has made a immediate impact. Owens helped the Wildcats starters not give up a score to Old Forge and even recorded an interception.
